# TimbrGate

> TimbrGate (https://timbrgate.com) is a free download gate and smart link platform for independent musicians, DJs and producers. A download gate (also called a fan gate) lets fans unlock a free download of a track, EP, stem pack or sample pack by first following, reposting or subscribing to the artist. Smart links send one URL to every streaming service. TimbrGate is free to start and is part of the TIMBR music brand (https://timbr.music).

## What TimbrGate does

- Free download gates: the artist uploads an audio file or a ZIP and picks the actions a fan completes before downloading. Fans can complete actions across major streaming and social platforms you choose - including SoundCloud, YouTube, Spotify, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Discord, and more - plus email sign-up. The gate builder offers 20 platform actions + email sign-up (21 selectable). Named platforms include Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, YouTube Music, Deezer, Tidal, SoundCloud, Amazon Music, iTunes Store, Pandora, iHeartRadio, KKBOX, Boomplay, Beatport, Bandcamp, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Discord, plus email sign-up.
- Verified one-click actions: SoundCloud follow/like/repost and YouTube subscribe can be completed in one click through the official SoundCloud and YouTube APIs (TimbrGate's YouTube access is verified by Google), so the artist gets the real action, not an honour-system click.
- Smart links: one link that finds the release on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Deezer, Tidal, SoundCloud, Amazon Music, Bandcamp and more, and routes each listener to the service they use.
- Playlist links: landing pages for playlist curators that deep-link fans to the playlist.
- Analytics: visits, downloads, clicks, countries, devices and peak listening hours for every gate and link, plus Meta Pixel, Google Analytics, Google Ads and TikTok Pixel support.
- Large files: gate files upload directly to cloud storage, with no app-imposed file-size limit.
- Top Popular Tracks: a community chart of tracks shared through TimbrGate.
